George Webber received his MMathCompSci in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Oxford in June 2023. During this time, he read courses on theoretical machine learning and deep learning in healthcare, while his Master’s thesis was on the application of generative deep learning to wearable sensor data from smartwatches. Since September 2023, George has been a PhD student at KCL. He currently researches generative machine learning approaches to medical image reconstruction, focusing on the positron emission tomography (PET) image reconstruction problem, under the supervision of Prof Andrew Reader and Prof Andrew King.
